Default genetically engineered fruit?

Hmm, I found out about this business from an airline catalog a while ago.

For example, this company claims that this fruit has the tastes of other fruits, like strawberry. The most obvious thing is that the fruit "species" bears the company's name.

Anyone else think that some of this fruit is genetically engineered?

Nope, not genetically engineered. They are growing selected hybrids.

Find out the history of the Pluot and the Aprium. They are plum/apricot crosses selected for a combinations of traits.

Get a copy of Plant Propagation Principles and Practices. Its worth reading.
