Default Resume sieving in GGNFS

Hello,
how can I resume the sieving process in GGNFS? - I'm looking for a fast answer because i can run ggnfs under linux and i'm only able to read the www using windows.

IF you use the factlat.pl script it is very simple.

To stop ggnfs just prees CRTL C and to start it again call
factlat.pl with the "*.poly" file as parameter. Then the sieving continues from where you stopped it.

Thanks first, but now a question: In which interval will it save the relations?
I processed a c101 to 15000 relations, stopped and resumed. It has started sieving from the beginning.

That sounds strange.
Normaly it starts at the position where you stopped it. With stopping the script all relations are stored and a "checkpoint" is set.
The only thing that is not recovered is the total yield. It starts again from zero but the other relations should be saved.

I have attached a snapshot from stopping and starting my client.
Highlighted are the lines that show the storing and restarting at the point of stopping the client. You should find similar informations.

The siever stores the relations in the file spairs.out.

Factlat.pl also adds the relations from spairs.add to spairs.out before running propcrels.

When you interrupt the sieving, spairs.out is added to spairs.add and the .job file is updated with the last special Q (q0=123456)

If the .job file is not updated, the script doesn't know where to resume. You can manually update the .job file. Just make sure the relations are kept.
