Default Manual TF assignments, assignment form, defaults, etc.

The gpu manual assignments form https://www.mersenne.org/manual_gpu_assignment/ reverts to server-specified inputs in the selection boxes. Currently that includes
Number of assignments you want 20, or Ghz-days of work you want (blank)
(although I think the number of assignments does not get reset always)
TF for first time LL tests (which should be revised to first time primality tests to deemphasize LL over PRP)
"Optional' exponent range 83961197 to 101000001 (the upper value of which is about 8M too low now, or error 40 occurs)
Work preference highest bit levels (which should probably be lowest exponent instead to encourage focus on the wavefront, and reduce the frequency of revising the server-supplied upper exponent value on the form)
Optional bit level to factor to (blank, probably should be 76)

Also I note that the work distribution map at https://www.mersenne.org/primenet/ currently shows no available TF from 40M through 200M!

Today I'm getting 108M+ TF assigned when specifying lowest exponent
Yesterday it was 101M+.
Quite a jump in a day.

See attached. I am working on 96.7M from 74 to 75 bits, obtained from GPU72.
Just sayin.

I did understand your reference to Prime Net. Your experience is puzzling, however, as lower assignments are available. The linked page shows lower assignments.

It shows them as available in the text at the bottom, but it's become rare to get under 100M from that page for first-time LL TF. I think they quickly get scooped up by GPU72. I am not a GPU72 participant.

I worried about that possibility. In the days just before GPU72 started to develop. dedicated TF workers knew when new material would come online, and would be gunning for it. Some really large workers could suck up most of the assignments. Chalsall's spiders were something of an equalizer so more people like me could get lower exponents.
I don't know where balance lies now

Is there an option to delete batches of assignments instead of individually ones? It’s very time demanding deleting reservations above 200, 300.

Also, these stats page at https://www.mersenne.ca/status/tf/20...200530/1/10000, it is possible to increase the frequency of the updates instead of being once per day? on the total line would it be hard to code between brackets the addons from last update just to get the figures of number of exponents factored or unfactored moved to next bit level?

Thank you.
