Ramanujan math puzzle cracked at last

It was a fairly important problem in combinatorics, but not at all a major problem in number theory. It just extends known divisibility properties of partition numbers (previously known to p=11) to all primes. Mathematicians judge the importance of results by their repercussions to other problems. This one doesn't have major impact elsewhere. Of course, the *techniques* used to solve it might be applicable elsewhere. I do not know enough to say. But it is still a nice piece of work.
