PrimeNet error 9: Access denied?

Hey everyone, I just downloaded Prime95 two days ago and it has yet to connect to the server.

First it was telling me error 7 and now today its telling me I dont have access to the server. It keeps telling me "Untrusted program versions currently excluded by PrimeNet".

Is their a way to fix this problem so I dont lose all the work it has finished so far?

UPDATE: Now after I had restarted my machine, it started up fine but is now giving me this error 7 again. Any ideas?

IIRC, there should be a new Prime95 release that fixed that bug. What version are you running?

For some reason, the program is losing the "g=4eff7809109c0f8266f25ea77faed697" value that tells the server which computer the message is coming from.

The program stores this information in prime.txt. Is that file write protected or corrupt?

well no but it is telling me that it can successfully connect and trade data now. I am not sure what was wrong but I think it fixed itself.

Maybe you stopped and restarted Prime95?
