Well, RSALS distributed the last WU for the 20M-80M range of "C160_4788_2715" about an hour ago...
At the time of this writing, about half of the results have been returned.

Should I somehow cancel all remaining WUs and let people earn zero credit, even if they turn up the relations ?

I don't know how the stats work for your projects, but I would say that since it's not your fault that the job became redundant, can you credit everyone for the workunits returned, even though they're not needed?

You are likely to annoy people if you don't give credit. People who did the work should get credit.
