Yes, I'm working on 4.4 (and 4.7 as well). I have loaded up my workers with exponents till 4.44. So you can take up from 4.44 onwards. The reason for slow progress is that previous P-1 is pretty deep, so the factors are hard to come by. If you don't want to suffer the same fate, you can skip those ones and only do the shallow ones.

2021-08-23, 14:52 #707 LaurV Romulan Interpreter     Jun 2011 Thailand 2·3·7·233 Posts Ok. Going down from 4.49M, we'll meet somewhere in the middle. 11.6M is done, there are 196 ranges to go. Andrew B found 2 factors (TF to 71) and SRBase found 24. We re-discovered 4 of the SRBase's factors, those with a smooth k, and other 71, for a total of 97 needed. As there is still some TF going on there, we may overshot one or few factors. No harm done. We will go back to 11M, starting with 11.3M (as said before) once the TF dust settles. Awesome...and I know you meant to say 196 ranges to go.

With the amount of firepower you have, you'll probably finish up that range before my currently queued range finishes !! If indeed that happens and the TF dust hasn't settled in 11M, you can probably do the same thing with 4.7 as well

Interesting. Thanks for that edification; I didn't know you could do that!

To make it a bit easier to follow progress, I've spent some "quality time" with the report. There are now 1M range totals, as well as overall totals at the bottom of the page.

I'll look at calculating the GHzDays required for the various TF bit-levels over the next few days (the code already exists, I just need to retarget it).

Thanks for all the cycles, everyone!

Only 17,923 factors left to find!

Like yourself used to say, I fart in your general direction... (haha, I am kidding man, we all appreciate the things you do; this time the changes didn't affect my script, which only grabs the remaining candidates for each range, deletes the "M" and multiplies with a million, last time is was worse because you changed the numbers to "xx.xM", and it created a mess in my sheet). The workers finally crunched thru the barren land of deep P-1 and is now going thru shallow ones. Just for good measure, found another one, and looks like you have found one more also?

As of this post 17,651.

Just over 68% found to date!
Granted some of the remaining factors will take more work to find; however there are still a lot of "cheap and easy" factors out there.
