96^81 gave an interesting split: c153 = p50 * p51 * p53

A couple of questions to keep my spreadsheet current:
Are all of the C153s now ECM'd to t50? Have all of the ones that were added from new bases 47616, 1305184, and 1727636 been ECM'd to t50? |

Yes, for the new bases (all four in three bases). The c153s are in work.

Now everything > 150 digits has been ECM'd to t50. Several broke.

OK, all cofactors have had t50 ECM.

40^106 has advanced.
ETA: And so has 55^94. ETA2: 63^97 has advanced. Last fiddled with by EdH on 2022-12-05 at 14:04 |

Yoyo confirmed that they do not work on cofactors > 139 digits per this post:
https://mersenneforum.org/showpost.p...postcount=2113 It appears that all reservations shown in the 1st post here are Yoyo reservations. Since the smallest factor here is 150 digits, I feel like all of those reservations can be removed. This actually explains something that I had been wondering about. I had noticed how some of the same-parity sequences would advance 1 index out of the blue and that those sequences were usually on bases that Yoyo had reserved and the cofactors cracked were always < 140 digits. This occurred even though the specific same-parity sequence was not shown as reserved, likely due to the assumption that Yoyo only worked opposite parity sequences. I would then wait for several weeks after the single index advancements to see if they were still being worked and noticed they never advanced again (due to a new cofactor at > 139 digits). Strongly suspecting that no ECM had been done on the next index, I then picked them up myself and confirmed as much. I often advanced them several more indexes and sometimes terminated one. The bottom line: Yoyo will work on same-parity sequences on bases that they have reserved but only if the cofactors are < 140 digits. Since the smallest cofactor that we have now on same parities is 136 digits, those advancements are fairly rare. I now know what to watch out for on Yoyo bases: Any sequence where the cofactor has reached >= 140 digits regardless of its parity. At that point, it is safe to assume that they have been released. |
