Default Prime95 v30 betas

Right now Prime95 v30 is in the beta stage.

The major change is the addition of PRP with certification capability.
See this thread: https://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=25638

You need to download both links above. The libraries are contained in the first link. Use the revised program from the second link.

Has the CPU speed estimation algorithm changed since v29.8b7?

I'm running a Linux x86_64 v30.2b1 build on an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X CPU, which is now apparently reporting the base frequency of this CPU (3500 MHz) to PrimeNet, instead of the actual ~4200 MHz that the CPU can actually reach in an all-core load.

I had the same issue - it reported it as a new, somewhat slower, cpu.
