If the humidity is low enough and enough cold water is available to drink, temperatures well over 100C are tolerable for significant periods of time.

I've spent enjoyable periods of 10 minutes at a time at 110C in a sauna without anything to drink. Easily long enough and hot enough to cook a hen's egg solid right the way through. 30 minutes with 0.5l water is pleasant at 95C.

The human body is spectacularly good at losing heat as long as it can evaporate enough water quickly enough. You can tell that we are tropical savannah animals.

I'd read or heard that the human body will eventually succumb to heat at an ambient temperature of 130 F (around 55 C).

However, I have on a number of occasions been in saunas which were at least 100 C for 20 minutes at a time. In some cases, the experience was intensified by being on the top level when somebody made steam. In one case I was at a hot springs, and was able to run out and make a "snow angel" before running back in to the sauna.

I once saw a TV program about record feats of enduring adverse conditions. One of them was a man who endured 400 F (204+ C) for at least 10 minutes. There was video of him in the oven (which was basically a chamber heated by banks of incandescent lamps), sweating profusely. He remarked that if there had been a batch of cookies in the oven with him, they would have baked until done during the time he was in there.

Guinness World Records used to certify records like this, but at some point announced they would no longer do so, on the grounds that the feats being attempted were just too dangerous.
