I don't think so. If you can compile gwnum (which you use in pfgw) then you are closer to building it than most.

Jean only has Visual Studio 6. Although I do have a current version, there are likely a bunch of things that the new Visual Studio would flag as "errors" that would require changes to his code. IIRC, one can get Visual Studio for free, but it disabled in some ways. I do not think it will build GUI applications.

MSDN licenses are not cheap. I have one, but won't share license keys.

Fortunately, the free version of Visual Studio 2019 (called Community) can build applications with GUI just fine. For that version I can guarantee that because I literally use it all the time. Even in our (really tiny) company this version is legally free to use.

Using LLR2 here now. It uses gwnum 30.4

So that's not the latest. It's 1% slower than LLR64 bits based upon gwnum 29.8

No idea what causes the slowdown but it's systematic slowdown. Code seems 1% slower at my
Xeon e5-2699v4 (ES) cpu's.

Maybe tiny AMD optimizations done?

If you manage to compile LLR4.0 gwnum 30.6 i'm very interested. Of course if it is possible somehow with a few flags to let LLR2 do PRP testing with gerbicz i'm all in for this too!

Do you happen to know which settings in LLR achieve this?

Paul hammers me each time that i should use gerbicz...

so i see for 3.8.23 which is fastest 64 bits LLR there is for this machine - i see there option:
ForcePRP=1

However how to turn on Gerbicz then?
