I have three sequences that need extending. Two were left off by Wolfgang at the downdriver and have been extended to the loss of the downdriver, but it would be nice to get them back above 100 digits.
The third one just had its guide change to 2^5 * 3^2 and could possibly have its guide change, depending on how the current line factors. The three are: Code:
Edit: Both snapped up.....thanks frmky & 10metreh! Last fiddled with by schickel on 2009-03-15 at 08:12 Reason: Changing status |

i give 10116 a try (the first open seq. >10000)!
found the last info for this sequence: index at 1130 with C101 = 2^4 * 3 * C99 now at n=1137 http://factorization.ath.cx/search.php?aq=10116 hope there're no others worked/working on that... DejaVu: the same things happens when i begun to search for Riesel-primes 2 years ago: there are many information about them on different pages, some current, some old not updated for years, some projects searching independently, work done twice because of unknown status,... so i decided to collect all those information available on one page for everyone... and the results can be found on www.rieselprime.de! perhaps there's someone compiling these info for aliquot sequences too! |

ok, started at index 4497 (currently at 4508 with 2 * 3^2) so officially reserved by me!
i think, others will come along with those different information found on the net and start unnecessary work. best would be a page with all current info for all seqs! |

As a special request, can I ask everyone to make sure that when you retire a sequence, I notice it. In exchange for the sequence files from Clifford, I need to make sure that he gets a copy of all our work. He's got some research tools that he goes spelunking in the sequence files with, and they're not set up to go digging into Syd's database. Thank you.

I think I forgot to add the one term each time, since I added the factors, but not 1, I correctly ignored the number itself though. Is there anything else I did wrong? I got that original number to be factored from r103920.txt. Was that factor known already and not updated?

So, after 166 lines of my working on this sequence, this happened:
Code:
2044 . 2394998956505870217435041596226162328518968627154757266409556367320584476891039099577309016005364 = 2^2 * 598749739126467554358760399056540582129742156788689316602389091830146119222759774894327254001341 2045 . 1796249217379402663076281197169621746389226470366067949807167275490438357668279324682981762004030 = 2 * 5 * C96 ![]() ![]() Seems I'll have to change my "location" field again... Edit: It's down to 93 digits... P.S. I think there a lot of updates needed on the reservations thread. Last fiddled with by 10metreh on 2009-03-30 at 18:56 |
