Expiration Dates

Does the daily "phone home" functionality do anything with regard to the expiration/recycle date of an exponent in first time LL tests (such as extend it if progress is being made)?

Also, I'm guessing I'm just blind, but is there somewhere I can see the expiration date of my assignments?

Only in so far as any assignment not reported for 60 days is recycled, regardless of how much progress had been last reported.

It's not on the assignment report, but you can get an idea from this report.

Basically, any reasonable modern machine (read: 5 years old or so or younger) will not have a problem unless it doesn't report for quite a while. And, very slow machines should not be given "Category 1" assignments anyway (you have to make a promise to "complete assignments quickly" to even get Category 1 or 2 assignments).

Actually, that is a point we were going to ask for a while, but always forgot or didn't want to angry the busy gods there , it would be very nice to have an additional column with expiration dates, in this report (you need to be log-ed in). Say, after the "estimated completion". So, one knows when he needs to hurry.

Also, what does the last column in this report (you need to be log-ed in) means, exactly? We can not figure it out, for the hack of our little hearts... We banged our little heads against the wall doing calculus with integrals and derivatives for 5 minutes but we can't get those numbers... Is the dot a decimal separator, or a digit "grouper"? We guess is something to do with the computing power, which is deducted somehow from the CPU list, isn't it? Anyhow the title of the column seems misplaced.

I've "kind of" got something worked out that'll show expiration dates, but right now it's a little kludge-y and I'm not sure it's totally accurate (I worked backwards from the description of expiration policy from the website; I didn't look at the actual expiration code).

I just need to fuss with it some more before I go any further with it like putting it out there on any of the web reports.
