Pfft! You'll need more than load balancing to tempt me away from my batch files!

Is there a way to calculate what is uploaded and show, in the MISFIT app, a "productivity" value. (Maybe as a tooltip when you hover over the icon in the tray?)

We are thinking of how "top" and "w" work in Linux, in that you will see a five minute value, a ten minute value and a fifteen minute value. We think an hourly value, daily value and weekly value would be very cool.

For example: 10/240/1680

No graphs or charts are needed. Just some numbers that, at a glance, show that things are running as intended. Just because the client is running doesn't mean there is a rogue process eating up GPU time or an overheated GPU throttling back. (Can they do that?)

Our situation is weird because our stats charts are so skewed with the work we used to do that we cannot see the work we are currently doing.

Or maybe there is another easy way to see the daily average? (Include it in the email that MISFIT sends?)

Since MISFIT can send emails we have no issue with said email being (neatly) loaded with information. You could even put the list of exponents uploaded in the email.

We are done rambling!

So, Mr Xyzzy were all your requests satisfied, or do you believe the delivery fell short of your expectations?

This is my last weekend to code for a while. I am moving 750 miles north/north east of where I am today and will be very busy with that.

If he's not there try asking Gerbil1 or Troll[1] or [2].

We think you did an excellent job.

The only thing we would change is we would prefer to see the weekly and monthly values expressed as a daily average.

Does that make sense?

You could make "weekly total" or "daily average" a choice that is on a toggle switch. Or even ask which metrics the user wants displayed. For example, we only care about the daily average for the last day and the daily average for the last week.

But, if this is a dumb idea, rest assured that what you put together is awesome as it is.

We especially like how it calculates the running average and not by the calendar day.

Default Showing productivity with averages

The screenshot shows averages added to the verbose report, and shows the form display configured to show averages. Systray is also showing averages (but you can't see that here)

To clarify:
Averages show total GhzDayCredit for time period divided by time_period.
If your daily output remained consistent the 7 and 30 day averages would be equal. (I'm wondering if this is useful at all? Mike?)
Averaging is off by default.
