Default mersenne.ca YAFU factoring project

If anyone has a few spare cycles, I wouldn't mind some help in factoring some slightly-large (generally 300-700 bits) numbers. mersenne.ca keeps a cache of factorizations of slightly-large numbers used in a variety of places, most commonly for displaying k-factored. Anytime it needs a very-small (<300-bit) number factored it can do so near-instantly on the server, but larger ones are set aside for offline factoring. I take care of most of this myself, but there's a few larger numbers that have been making the queue pile up a fair bit over the past year.

If you would like to help, grab a few assignments (check the checkbox and fill in your MersenneForum username). The rightmost column is an estimate of GHz-days equivalent for SIQS on the unfactored composite. Assignments are valid for 15 days, so don't take more than you can complete in that time. No automated results reporting, you'll have to email factor.log to me.

I've done "deep" ECM on most of the available assignments, but some of the larger ones haven't been completely ECM'd to that level (the color-coding makes these easy to see). If you just want to do ECM up to "deep" level, but not SIQS, that's also useful. Note the -pretest option controls whether work stops after ECM or continues to SIQS.
Several elements on the page allow you to select multiple similar assignments at once: the ECM progress numbers at the top of the page, the created-date, the Cofactor C-digits.

For some reason, if you enter your user name on top of the list, it will ask you for your username on the bottom, too.

Is it possible to output the composites directly without "/x/y/..." in the end? This might be useful if one is not using YAFU and the program does not accept expressions.

Thanks, both issues should be fixed.

Now, it will say that all "numbers are assigned to you", if no user name is present. The representation in the table is now without division, but the assignment views (both of them) still have the old format (which is not a problem for the second one).

Fixed.

I figured that the assignment output would be fine in the original format since it's YAFU-specific, and if you wanted to feed it to some other program (which one, out of curiosity?) then the bare number would be sufficient.
I could rework the interface to be able to toggle between all 4 combinations in the commandline box, but will take a bit longer to rework the interface. Should I?

The YAFU-specific box is definitely fine as it is, but the one above it could use the "final" representation. I guess it is more useful for you if the original number is still visible?

I now use something like:
Code:
export BC_LINE_LENGTH=0;
bc -q < numbers_raw > numbers;
So from my end, there is no need to change it. Thank you for this nice exercise!

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what part you're talking about. Maybe a screenshot could help me understand which part you mean?

It was I who was misunderstanding. There was already a "composite only" button which I overlooked.

This seems like an interesting project. I have YAFU on my primary system, but it's old. Something like v1.34.

I am trying to determine what is going on with this. At first, I did not have GGNFS installed. My YAFU.ini consists of the following:

Code:
ggnfs_dir=c:\GGNFS\
tune_info=Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz,WIN64,1.03261e-005,0.204216,0.29757,0.0996258,98.1801,3604.36
See the attachment for the rest. It's frustrating because I have used Yafu before.

Maybe it is a permissions problem and YAFU needs to be started as administrator for some reason?
