30.8 build 8

A few bugs were hopefully fixed. Stage 2 % complete should now start at 0% and proceed to 100%. If you're happy with build 7, there is no reason to upgrade.

BTW... For the record... You helped me catch another machine a couple of weeks ago which suddenly became "unhealthy". Data-set is fine. MB and/or CPU (maybe RAM?) is toast.

Antivirus update forced Reboot of PC

After restart Stage 1 was at 57.53%
At the end of Stage 1 worker stopped to add worktodo.add file.
Workers restarted back at Stage 1 57.53%

Is this as expected with Build 5?

30.8, stage 1 found a factor for 7105589, but the file still in folder together with other stage 1 files, moved to where stage 2 runs, then when running stage 2, P95 crashes and can not be restarted as soon as it reached the exponent. After first restart and crash, the file is renamed to extension "write", then after the second restart, to extension "bad1", the third restart says "bad file assignment skipped for now".

After deleting the file, stage 2 can continue correctly with the other files.

This happens occasionally. Sometimes it's there but sometimes it's not.
I think switching to Linux can address the problem, but it's difficult to run my mfaktc on Linux.
And for wine ... Prime95 can run with wine, but there's a 15% performance drop.

What's the issue with mfaktc on Linux?
Mprime on Linux is slightly (under 1% IIRC) higher performance than prime95 on Windows and identical hardware. (Tested lightly on a dual-boot system.) No need for the complication or lower performance of wine environment.
