FYI I am sieving R267 and S267 to 1e12. I have a new toy with a fast GPU. 1e12 is the appropriate depth for GPU sieving. It takes about 3.5 days to fully sieve each. I will send the remaining candidates to Gary when done.

R267 and S267 sieved to 1e12 and sent to Gary. These are appropriately sieved if anyone wants to continue testing these ranges.

Sieving R124 on an NVIDIA RTX A5000.

command: srsieve2cl -K3 -ib124.in -g32 -P1e9

yields: p=608235757, 6.118K p/sec, 2462899 factors found at 328.9 f/sec

This was running for an hour. I stopped and started again, but using the CPU. So with an i9-119650H.

command: srsieve2 -ib124.in -P1e9

yields: p=616551967, 145.3 p/sec, 1057 factors found at 5.089 f/sec

The GPU (in this case) is nearly 40x faster (using p/sec) than a single core on the CPU. FYI, this is when sieving all 54450 sequences concurrently.

I will sieve this to an appropriate depth, although I don't know what that will be right now. It might be around 1e11, which is about 8 days of sieving at the current rate.

Sieving S67 on GTX 3090 for n=100,000-250,000 for all remaining k-values. Currently going to P=1e13 (estimated ETA ~3 days) and then checking whether further sieving is needed.

Apologies for not reserving it ahead of time. I just wanted to try out srsieve2cl, and it turns out it works really well!

Nice! Time to give it a spin with a conjecture that has more k.

R124 sieved to 1e11. File sent to Gary.

The removal rate was about 1/4th of what it should be (comparing GPU sieving to CPU PRP testing), but is likely deep enough for most people who want to test without further sieving. There are nearly 29 million tests in the file. I guesstimate that a six-core CPU can finish this in about a year.

Got to 1e13, removal rate of ~110 sec/factor, but the prime test with 4 threads of LLR took ~455 seconds, so I'm continuing the sieving to a max of 1e14, but I'll stop if I get to that ~455 seconds/factor threshold.
