Does the order of the various subforums matter on the home page? We're talking about the forums that fall under "Prime Search Projects" and "Factoring Projects". Thanks for any suggestions or comments!

I noticed that, usually, the ones with the most posts rise to the top -- that is the sub-forums are in number-of-posts order. Many of the 321 posts are just "reservations" and are regularly deleted by me. Hence we go south. It does not matter -- we are just glad you, Xyzzy, host our project's messages

Xyzzy hosts the forums? If I'd known, I would have thanked him when I talked to him on the phone a few months back.
Thank you Xyzzy for hosting the forums. |

That "feature" was actually something we did manually, mainly because we had no clue what order would be best. We are very willing to modify the order if necessary. It takes all of 2 minutes.

While we are tempted to accept all the credit, the vast majority of the hosting work is done by a pair of very rare Meriones unguiculatus. They have odd working hours and frequently masticate important documents but they literally work for peanuts. Well, not peanuts. They prefer sunflower seeds. The "white" one is a schimmel and the "gray" one is a burmese.
