checking smaller number

The program is checking whether M24922787 is prime, while in february, a bigger mersenne prime was found. Is this normal, or should I do something?

It's normal. You can change the program so it will check 10,000,000 digit numbers, but that takes more time. It looks like yours is set for 1st time LL-tests, which is what mine is on.

The results of a number are sometimes not returned by somebody, for example their house and computer are destroyed. When that happens, it eventually goes back in the queue and gets handed back out.
Or a person doing the trial factoring may take much longer than someone else factoring a different number. When they get turned back in, they go back in the queue for LL checks.
