All same-parity work for sequences starting at > 185 digits has now been entered into the DB. I found 4-5 stragglers that deserved some extra ECM. I'm done with that now. One split and is the first one shown below.
Here is a status of relevant sequences that I'm either still working on or that I'm done with: 181^85: 169/129/53657011/full; This is the final reasonable one from the > 185-digit effort. I'm working on it now. Large smallest factor looks promising. 317^63: 141/139/13/full; C139 bogged it down but is nearly ready to split and will go until termination. 317^65: 156/150/431/t40; Too heavy to continue so I've released it. This will be only one remaining for base 317. 14288^40: 154/142/5/full; C142 is tough but I'm going to continue with it after finishing 317^63. C142-143 is about the top end of what I'll do ATM. |

317^63 terminates
Only 317^65 remains for base 317. Since it's now split, I'll do some work on it. I'm currently working on new base 311 and 313 exponents 49 to 65 same-parities so I'll have a bunch of terminations to report later. Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2022-09-20 at 02:24 |

Ed,
Since there continue to be a lot of new bases started, I'd like to suggest that we leave this thread open just for filling in higher exponent same parities on new bases like I'm currently doing. Then perhaps you could occasionally split a sequence or two to help complete a base or bring it down to 1 remaining or something like that. There doesn't have to be any formal effort. Gary |

I wasn't going to close the thread, though its intial purpose was lost long ago. We are still using it to some advantage. I will still update post #1 and try to stay on top of reservations and new bases, at least for now.

233^79 terminates
311^49, 51, 53, 55, 57, 59, 61, and 65 terminate 313^49, 51, 53, 55, 59, and 65 terminate Base 311 was a great base! Only 311^63 remains. I'm still working on 311^63, 313^57, and 313^61 as well as 181^85 and 317^65 from yesterday. It has been a load the last couple of days! 313^63 at 153/136/3 full ECM is the only one from these 2 bases that I won't continue with. The 3 kills it for me. Even so, if the 4 sequences above for bases 311/313/317 all terminate, 313^63 will be the only one remaining for all 3 bases combined! 14288^40 has turned out to be a real disappointment for me. I split a C142 only to encounter a C153 on the next index. I'm releasing it. It's at 154/153/7 ECM to t45. It looks like you beat my report by < 1/2 hour. All of the above are noted as terminated by A. :-) 317^65 is shown in the 1st post at 141/139. It's never been that low. It's currently at 154/140. Not that it matters for a reservation. It just looks strange. Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2022-09-20 at 13:01 |

I updated post #1 again. My copy/paste didn't include the size for 317^65.
I'll queue 313^63 and 14288^40. Last fiddled with by EdH on 2022-09-20 at 16:41 Reason: Fix incorrect sequence number. |

313^63 is finished and 14288^40 should be done in about an hour from this post.

313^57, 317^65, and 14288^40 terminate
Bases 317 -AND- 14288 are complete! ![]() ![]() Base 313 has only one remaining. Thanks for the splits on 14288^40! That one was certainly challenging. Releasing 181^85 and 313^63. I am done with all past work. The first 3 lists in the 1st post can be cleared. Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2022-09-22 at 01:37 |
