Here are updated lists of same-parity sequences with current size < 150 digits, no known factor, and large smallest factor. There are some new sequences from the last lists since they now include all starting size <= 185.
Current size < 150 digits (all fully ECM'd): Code:
75^93: 147/143/11 271^65: 147/146/3 30^106: 148/138/3 28^110: 148/144/7 109^81: 149/144/7 20^118: 149/149/3 No known factor (ECM to t45): Code:
131^87: 171/171 92^90: 173/173 Code:
77^85: 156/146/1.04E+10/full 93^81: 157/149/1.90E+07/full 223^71: 159/152/3.08E+07/t45 23^119: 160/146/5.21E+13/full 1250^53: 165/141/6.61E+23/full 83^95: 165/147/2.38E+18/full 39^109: 165/155/6.64E+09/t45 197^75: 169/145/2.64E+23/full 722^59: 169/153/1.07E+16/t45 167^81: 176/149/2.21E+10/full 84^96: 183/158/3.92E+24/t45 119^89: 184/145/9.91E+10/full Last fiddled with by EdH on 2022-08-16 at 02:17 Reason: add < 150 digits list |

I have started on 92^90 and sieving is supposed to be done on Wednesday, but this will extend at least an extra day.
Thanks for all the lists. I will study them and see where we get. I am going to be tied up with very little time for updates, etc. on and off this week. I'll jump on when I can. |

I added the < 150 digits current size list to my last post. I forgot the most obvious one.
Any place in my last few posts where I said opposite-parity, I meant same-parity. Also, the final statement in the last post should say: 10 out of 12 of these will drop in current size to their cofactor size after splitting. Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2022-08-16 at 01:52 |

I changed all these references for clarity in the previous posts.

I have factored:
57^99 C141 65^97 C142 113^87 C138 Factors are posted to factordb. My work continues on the list Ed posted in #684. |

To give us a better idea of how far we've come, below is a list of bases that have had all of their same-parity sequences terminated.
Code:
2 3 5 6 7 10 11 12 13 14 15 31 41 42 43 50 53 59 70 71 73 79 242 251* 263* 281* 293* 306 439 450 496 578 800 968 8128 8191 14536 15015 15472 524287** 82589933 223092870 2147483647** 10000000019 ** Recently initialized large bases: 1352, 131071, 524287, 2147483647 Breakdown: Bases currently on web page: 38 / 173 = 22% Recently initialized small bases: 4 / 12 = 33% Recently initialized large bases: 2 / 4 = 50% Total: 44 bases completed out of 189 total bases = 23% This was not an easy list to compile since I only keep a spreadsheet of sequences and bases remaining not ones completed. I'd certainly welcome any scrutiny. |

I'm working on 109^89. That C138 is a pain but it should terminate later today. Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2022-08-16 at 12:18 |

The following post 1 reservations were impacted by my recent effort to ECM/initialize everything up to starting size 185:
107^91: was 182/139 now 178/177 193^79: was 175/139 now 165/163 33550336^24: was 181/143 now 181/135 151^83: was 172/144 now 170/153 162^83: was 184/144 now 184/132 These were not reserved at the starting time of my effort, which completed a bit over a day ago. Only the C140s/C141s were reserved at that time. Hopefully there is not too much inconvenience. Mike, the above had previously had no ECM. There are still some in the list with starting size > 185 digits that have had none. Just thought I'd make you aware. |
