Racism or low light levels or...?

Been creating that burning smell by thinking again. :)

Racism is real, and I'm not denying that, but fear of the unknown can also be a reason to not trust someone.

Consider the black family that was sitting in their car, was pulled over, and then the father was shot because he was supposedly "reaching for a gun." Not saying it wasn't racism, but where was the sun on that day? You have a dark skinned man inside an unlit vehicle, while there's maybe noonday sun, and he's reaching into something that can also barely be seen even with a good vantage point from outside the vehicle.

Maybe a white person should try a social experiment where they paint their face black and go out in public as if nothing has changed. See how police officers treat that person who's facial expressions are obscured.

Again, I'm not saying this is a good reason to shoot black people, it's just something to consider.

Essentially that experiment has been carried out many many times. Google "burqa" (or burka) for examples.
