Take a look at 52336667 and 55251041. I was going through some old results files and checking them against the database to be sure that all of the work had been reported. Interestingly, in the case of these two exponents - both of which I factored from 72 to 75 - the 73-74 bit level seems to be missing from the history. Obviously, to factor from 72 to 75, I'd have had to factor from 73 to 74 along the way, so what is happening here? When I try to manually submit the missing bit level, it is kicked back as "not needed". Was I ever credited for the missing bit level? Any and all insight is greatly appreciated...

And interesting to me, my skipped bit level finding program should have caught this but didn't.

Could the line 2^74 to 2^75 have been submitted before the 2^73 to 2^74 line for some reason? Because then the server will not accept the lower range.

It will now as of a few weeks ago, but it won't grant credit if the exponent is not currently assigned to you.

You can always compare the received values on mersenne.ca which does display this situation correctly -- you can see the multiple TF submitted at the same timestamp: http://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/52336667 http://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/55251041 |

A little code-twiddling and the regular exponent report now displays correctly when multiple bitlevels of TF are reported at the same timestamp:
