What is the implication of "polynomial Dickson(30)" used by GMP-ECM?

Somewhat peripherally related, but is mersenne.ca either delayed or down? Seems to be a few days stale.

There's a forum for that: mersene.ca

Yeah, when Ryan hits it...
For M24877, he even found two factors! Then M24877 and M26783. M28807 had a factor found by masser.

Nice! t40 to 100k is not terribly far from being complete so that's the next logical step here I think.

Another activity we might consider: ensuring each exponent less than 100k has had some ECM curves run with an appropriate B1 and the recent versions of prime95/mprime. I noticed that there was a set of exponents around 30223 (this was prior to Ryan Propper's recent submissions) and another set near 33889 with B2\approx200*B1 for the most recently run ECM curves. With a fair amount of memory and recent P95/mprime, we can get much larger B2 values.

If you would like to share the load, let me know. I have a dual Xeon system with 384GB RAM doing regular ECM stuff at the moment, tho I wouldn't mind to switch :)

It will be a few months until I circle back to ECM tasks; feel free to take up this task in the meantime. I'll keep an eye on the progress here.
