How do you operate the computer then? I'm simply being curious.

As predicted... It's a bit like "my dog ate my homework", only different.

Please stop wasting our time. It's no longer amusing.

I have to magnify the Arial fonts to size 18 on most of the applications to avoid the typo errors. Good thing the new age monitors are large enough with plenty of pixels to fit in the entire document.

Aren't the threads in the "Extra Stuff" and "Other Stuff" sections optional for you to read?

If you are using windows, get/use a 2nd screen and use it as magnifier for your 1st screen using windows built-in magnifier. In my case, I’m just to lazy. I like to lounge across the room and operate my computers. I’m sure it will work for you.
As for the trolls, feeding them makes them come back for more. Just ignore him and he will go away.

ETA BTW, I know someone else with similar vision issues as yours on another forum. He is one of the smartest people I have ever encountered online.

I think you finally understand why I frequently type the wrong numbers or misspell the words if the applications didn't catch them in time.

I already received my new monitor which is 2560x1440 pixels, so there are more space to adjust the settings for ease of access.

I should have probably grayed out the grand total price on that attached screenshot too. I thought that was only a regular PC from Ben Delo's perspective, maybe it's too expensive for some others.

I should be able to get my new PC before Christmas as the new DDR5 5200 MHz memory sticks will arrive to CyberPowerPC warehouse next week.

They have DDR5 4800 MHz in stock now, so the worst case scenario won't be as bad as I've thought 2 weeks ago.

Perhaps tell your Father (who is paying for all of this) that you might actually find some enjoyment from using what you have been given with all this kit to get things done.

I'm currently (in my spare time) doing some QA on Woltman's code while supporting a few other sub-projects.

What are you doing?

Nothing new as the usual for the Covid-19 pandemic time, limited holiday gathering. My father is already in the high risk age group(>60), so he prefers to be more isolated.

I'll stay patient that's the #1 key now.

As soon as I get my new PC, bring any M168M exponent up to 2^79 should be within the matter of several hours with Nvidia Geforce 3080, so I plan to get as many done as possible.

When one has one's own ability, one can do anything one wants.

This is about the time one begins to understand economic curves. And where they /migh/ cross...

Patience young grasshopper...

Prime95 30.7 or later has been programmed for the efficiency of the newer PCs. Cannot really help big without it.

Just to provide the transparency of the phase of my new PC which has passed the warehouse stage and is in the production now(3 - 4 business days). Another 3 - 4 business days for shipping.

Because I was in the waiting line for more than 1 month, so I got the service as soon as the manufacturer company received the 2 DDR5 5200 MHz memory sticks.

My current GPU(Geforce 780 GTX) is making the fan noise when I run the trial factoring, so I cannot run at the full speed.

Soon you will have nice shiny new computer from Father Chirstmas. I hope use use it efficiently to amass your tests at 168Mbs -- listen to advice. Whatever, you should see a huge speed up over your old machine
