Yes, the Nintendo DS. Yes, yes, I know: http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=10275
I'm just curious if anybody has a guess as to just how slow it'd be for prime-searching/prime-eliminating-by-factoring/full-factoring. ![]() There's even a WiFi connection to get assignments from PrimeNet if you want. There are expansion cards that go in the GBA slot (so that would be only for the original DS or DS Lite, DSi already has more RAM I believe) to allow for more RAM. (I was inspired by flouran's "iPhone App" thread) Last fiddled with by TimSorbet on 2009-07-02 at 20:55 |

It would be kinda cool to have my DS running the software, but it would be very very slow. It's not the ram im worried about, its the processor. According to this website: http://www0.dealtime.com/xPF-Nintend...d-World-Bundle (it shows the specs in the page) The Arm 9 processor is only 67 mHz. I don't think it would be worth the time or effort to write software for the DS.
