GMP-ECM 6.2-rc1 - installation under MinGW failed

I just tried to install the release-candidate under MinGW / Msys - it failed.

The error message is:

configure: WARNING: gmp.h: present but cannot be compiled

Hi,

it looks like this can be caused by a gcc version older than 3.4, which did not understand the -Wextra parameter yet. Which gcc version are you using? If it is older than 3.4, can you try editing the configure file and replace -Wextra by -W in there? Does it work then?

How can I see which version my gcc is?

It is version 3.2.3.

I retryed after replacing -Wextra by -W, it worked. Running make check says that all p-1, p+1 and ecm tests are ok.
