Tests for n>6.625M for the following two k's will be removed from our server:
90646*2^n+1
101746*2^n+1

PrimeGrid will be taking these over.

I am going to drop the PRPnet server here when we have reached n=6.65M due to lack of interest, likely from the large test size.

I am considering adding as a goal for 2021: BOINC test all of these k's to n=8M. This should be fairly easy for BOINC and I will consider increasing the goal to n=9M if the interest is there.

I would eventually like to have our base 2 efforts tested to close to what PrimeGrid has Riesel base 2 tested to (currently n=~10.5M). I think we can accomplish that ~ 2-3 years (allowing for their continued increase in search depth).

Reb has graciously agreed to have BOINC take over this effort at n=6.65M. At that point we will drop PRPnet1400.

The server has dried out after the effort was completed to n=6.65M.

Riesel/Sierp base 2/4 even-odd k-n will now be turned over to BOINC. It will be started after additional sieving is completed by Yoyo.

There are no plans to run public PRPnet servers for CRUS in the future at this point.

Hmm, how about k=3677878 from R3? With 5,5mio digits i doubt any sane person would start working on it.

Why?

The current tests that we had in there for base 2/4 were at n=6.65M or ~2M digits. It got little to no interest for the last several years.

3677878*3^n-1 is at n=5M, which is ~2.385M digits (not 5.5M digits). Hence there would be even less interest for the latter.
