Anyone naive enough to download/execute binaries from an untrusted source deserves to get hit with a virus...
I use BT all day long and never have a problem, but all I deal with are data files... |

The same thing can be said about websites. The problem exists on any program where you can download binaries.

There should be a license required for using the internet, just so we can revoke it for people who run binaries downloaded from p2p networks.

Adware and spyware are big problems for any single home system. It is a huge problem for corporate networks. No matter how good the scanning software is, they get through. I know, by trade. I have had to clean off more than one hard drive at work because it was scrambled with this junk.
