Help w/ Gfriends math to get some

I'm trying to gethelp for my girlfriend math... she's taken online math and her tutor is horrible they don't help her w/ any other problems except in the book but she gives these take home test w/ problems that do not make any sense to her and the book does not show her the way to figure theses out..

I would love to have some one look at this take home test and help me out... any help would be greatly appreciated. this would give me huge brownie ppoints if I got her the answers

Do your own (girlfriend's) homework. You'll get way more brownie points if the two of you figure it out together.

This is the old Pythagorean a² + b² = c²

150^2 + 275^2 = c^2
22500 + 75625 = c^2
98125 = c^2
313 = c (approx)

since this is multiple choice and none are close to each other, the best answer is a) 313.249m

This as an easy one that she should get by herself.

Nilknarf: All you need is an elementary book on school Algebra and please study it thorougly first.
Giving you the answers will not help you or your girlfriend in the long run.
A solid foundation in the basics is compulsory for higher studies or you both will have to drop out.

The unfortunate truth is that after helping someone with simple things like this math, the "some" is rarely forthcoming. Bait and switch is a good way to look at what will happen. My recommendation is to request the "some" in advance. Since all you want is brownie points, these should not be very hard for her to give or you to accept. Then you can help her with her math and not feel bad about the final results.

Your paper looks like a simple algebra test. On a difficulty scale from 0 to 10, it might be .3 at the worst.

There are plenty of educational math websites that could help you; have you tried searching for some.

To reiterate the points made by earlier posters, I think you would get more of a response if you chose a few of the problems and demonstrated what you have done to try to solve them so far.
