Default "Merging" CPUs

I've been testing with different combinations of CPUs vs. VMs on my server. I've made many VMs and gave each a CPU and then I've done the reverse.

I've decided that (for management purposes) having fewer VMs is the way to do. So, is there a way to "merge" my "CPUs"? I've tried on the https://www.mersenne.org/cpus/ page but I get an error that some of the CPUs I'm trying to merge have results associated with them.

Thoughts on how I can do this?

Log into the PrimeNet server. Go to Account/Team Info>My Account>CPUs. Merge instructions are there.

Thank you for the reply. However, that is what I've tried and all I get is an error.

Did you try to merge the second into the first instead of merging the first into the second?

I'm not sure how to choose which gets merged into which. You just check the boxes and say "merge".

I don't know of any way on that page to choose which might be first, but are you selecting more than two CPU to merge at once? I've never had an issue merging CPU, but had only ever done two at a time. You might have to merge multiple times to get rid of all extra, but I hope that might help.

Good thought. Alas, failure. Here is the error message I receive when I attempt to merge any 2 of the CPUs I'd like to concatenate:
<snip>
CPU 23b3247a50ef3e5859d1434bf2141bd9 reported results after CPU 1b15032be4525de2b3962e855341bfef was created
</snip>
