Hi,
I need a switch that takes as inputs, lots of monitor output leads (VGA) and has a switch which allows any of the monitors to be the output to a single monitor connected as the one output monitor for all the inputs. Do such switches exist? |

Wouldn't a KVM switch work for this purpose?

If you do get a KVM switch, I would try to use DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort instead of VGA if possible. I've seen the additional cabling cause interference using VGA.

It's not so bad now with HDMI + USB but good luck finding big brand servers with HDMI/DVI/DPort. But they do make KVMs like that. |
