Why are these still running an ancient version of PRPNet?
BTW, both links point to the same URL. |

Well, everyone, we're in luck: I never actually loaded the candidates into the server yet (got swamped with other work).
![]() On another note: do we want to clear out the stats for port 1300 (I think there was some old junk in there from the previous base 2 drive) before starting the new effort? Likewise for port 1400? I can save off a "snapshot" of the stats for posterity before doing so. Also, I fully intend to upgrade both the PRPnet servers when I load new work in them. |

As noted in my last post, I can attach PDF "snapshots" of past server stats to this thread if we want to clear out the stats to get a clean start for the new efforts in both servers. I should note that as my mod status expired due to inactivity a couple of years ago, I cannot update the first post to reflect my changes. If either Gary or Ian could update the first post to reflect what's quoted above, that would be great! (The best way to do this would be to quote it in a reply, switch the post editor to "source code" mode, and copy the raw BBCode out of the quoted section, then replace the current content of the first post with that.) |

I am pleased to announce that Sierpinski base 9 is now open for business on port 1300! It is running a modern PRPnet version (5.2.8, to be upgraded to 5.3.2 pending a conversation in progress with Mark about building the server code), with a clean database - that is, all the stats will start afresh for this effort.
I've saved off a snapshot of the old stats from port 1300 (for the old base 2 effort we did in there a while back); likewise, I've taken a snapshot of the current stats in port 1400, since we may want to clean that out in like fashion before starting the next new effort. Since CRUS does not have a big stats system like NPLB, this is our best way of preserving user/team stats for posterity. Though CRUS is a rather less "credit-oriented" project, I figure people would prefer these not just float off into the ether. ![]() Port 1300 stats as of 2014-09-07 Port 1400 stats as of 2014-09-07 Gary/Ian, these two links should probably be incorporated into the first post of this thread when you get the chance. |

The port 1300 server is now running the latest PRPnet version, 5.3.2. Thanks to Lennart for a quick tip on getting PRPnet to compile under gcc!
![]() Whenever we're ready to load new work in port 1400, it will be upgraded as well. Upgrades for the other servers (2000, 9000, 12000, and 13000) will follow soon, too. |

Nice work Max in getting these taken care of. Please also remove the P=34T-40T factors and send an updated file to me.
Lennart, are you done sieving S9? I am now stickying this thread since it is ready for business. Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2014-09-09 at 09:54 |

Should the sieving posts in this thread be moved to a new thread?
