Default Favorite RTS

What is the RTS with the best graphics? (Just got a Radeon PCIx X800XL)
Best gameplay, storyline, funnest? I personally like Rise of Nations quite a bit, but I haven't really tried any others. I saw an ad for Imperial Glory that looked neat.

For me personally, my favorite Realtime Strategy game is:
The Command & Conquer series.

I would suggest:
  • Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth
  • Rome: Total War
  • Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War

As for C&C series, "C&C: Generals" especially with "Zero Hour" expansion is pretty cool too.

I'm currently playing Rome:Total War which is a mix of RT battle and non-RT strategy though battles do require a fair amount of strategy. My all-time favourite has to be the Age of Empires series.
