Arrow Manual sieve:- Pick A Range

This thread used to be the one for manual sieve-reservations for PSP. Manual reservations have become obsolete, but
Sieving is as active as ever, but at other places.

There are two ways to handle your sieving: Fully automated and Half automated.

If you would like to handle your sieving automatically (by BOINC), please go to www.primegrid.com, get the BOINC client, sign in for the primegrid.com-project, click on "Your account" on the primegrid homepage, then "PrimeGrid Preferences" and check "Prime Sierpinski Problem Sieve". The client will do the rest for you, including the download of the software used and the submission of factors. BOINC Cobblestones will be granted as credit.
Here you can see the progress.


For manual (half automated) reservations, please refer to the Combined Automated Reservation System, sign up, if you don't have an account yet, and grab your range. The software you need can be found here (read the readme); you will need the data file as well. When you find some factors, you can report them at the Sieveimport page.
For this option, you will find your stats here.
Note: you might need to drop in a short note here in the forum so that your user name can be integrated in the Sieve Import page.

What do you think about cleaning up this page and making some references to bionic and matt's site.

Hi,

sorry that i handle this archiveing with very low priority.
But there are many things to be done that are more impoortant for me at the moment.
But i can confirm that there are no low ranges available.

I will update the archive page as soon as possible but real life has the highest priority. At the moment i just manage to keep up with the normal management of the backend and with answering the mails i receive. But
i am unable to do any extra work. Specialy i would like to clean my script code as it is not very maintainable at the moment. ( You can see that is was my first try with PHP)
