How often is the top producers data updated? How is Ghz days calculated? If I run one thread at 1 Ghz for 1 day is that 1 Ghz day? I have been running 8 thread (quad core processor) at 3.6 Ghz (over clocked) for several weeks and my Ghz days number in the top producers data has only increased by 4 Ghz days.
Thanks Vince |

If you are running the L-L primality test that is quite possible. The test takes weeks to complete and there is no credit until the result is turned in. The test has to finish to have any result.
The top producers report is update once an hour. 1 GHz day is ~= 1 core (not thread) at 1 GHz running for 1 day. When the L-L test results start to get turned in you should see you numbers go up in large chunks. |

If you're interested, this is based on a single core of an Intel Core2, scaled to how fast it would be running at 1 GHz Last fiddled with by TimSorbet on 2010-01-09 at 12:42 |

It reports that the LL test will be done on Feb. 7th. So I should not expect to see any increase in the Ghz days until then?
