Default Manual Results Question ... an easy one.

I have a PC I had to reinstall ... but am having trouble getting internet access (separate discussion ... think I need a driver).

Anyway so as not to lose processing power I am running without a connection with plans to upload the results once I have a connection.

In the meantime I have a results.txt file.

I know I can submit is to the Manual Results but I want to know if the results will get credited to the PC named in the results.txt file ... or to the shady PC called "Manual Testing".

Thx

If I'm not mistaken, if the machine is configured to report to PrimeNet, Prime95 generates the files that allow it to report to PrimeNet in the usual way. When it cannot report to PrimeNet, the files hang around, so you can simply copy your Prime95 folder to another machine to have it report the results to PrimeNet.

Yes. As soon as you get your internet connection back, the program will successfully contact the server and should submit everything it has ready.

However....so I do NOT get the nagging "CURL" error every 70 or even 300 minutes I checked OFF for "Use PrimeNet to Get/Send Results".

Will it still submit the results automagically when I am connected and reset that switch?

Or does what is completed so far have to be submitted manually?
And if so ... is there no way to get it attributed to the correct PC????

If it matters it is GPU72 DC-P1.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts so far.

Results achieved with "Use PrimeNet to Get/Send Results" off will not be sent even if that setting is turned back on later.

To get rid of the CURL burps, check "Do not contact PrimeNet server automatically" under "Manual Communication".
