Default Facing issue to install goaccess

I'm trying to install goaccess on my laptop, but I can't install it by saying "/var/lock".
How to solve this problem?

please let me know how to resolve this issue

What flavour of Linux are you using? You probably need with prepend with sudo when you need higher priveledges or to run some some stuff as root by switching to it with the su command. HTH.

Pasting the shell commands you're running and their output would be helpful.
