I sent an e-mail to the address list on the website (different domain).

At least snagging the latest versions of all the files that are available on the wayback machine would be a start. James H has much of the data already.

Will had factors ranging well beyond Primenet range... Should we also consider them?

He is alive and okay. The URL for his website changed. I changed the entry in the MersenneWiki.

Note the addition of a subdomain.

And tell Will he missed 511 in "definitions" chapter (in the "list of the smallest composite mersenne")

(edit: we here also always subscribed to the idea of defining "mersenne numbers" for all exponents, not only for prime exponents, for many reasons)
