Actually all it takes is 1 or 2 good GPUs.
November of 2014 I personally finally broke into the Top 100 overall in both reports after more than 10 years of CPUs only..
Then I got a GTX750...9 months later I was top 50 in both.
I added a GTX780 5 months ago...this has me currently at overall 22 (YTD) and 41 (Life).
Currently about 92% of my total thruput comes from those 2 GPUs.
32 CPU cores account for the other 8%.
