While using CADO, I've found the deg 4/5 cutoff to be just under 100 digits, and deg 5/6 to be around 215.
In past GNFS poly searches, a deg 6 has never been used for anything under C206 (per the limited data in best scores table and the C190+ NFS jobs thread). Parallel searches in deg 5 and 6, as well as lots of test sieving were involved for C206-215.
