Reducing logging output of mfaktc

I've looked through the mfaktc.ini but I don't see a variable to set to reduce the amount of log output I see. I typically get 2-3 log entries every minute! I'd like to reduce this to 1 every 5...

It should be noted that the "new" way to shutdown/reboot your computer is:
systemctl reboot or systemctl poweroff.

I think the "shutdown -r now" still works, for now, but in the new "systemd"...
