It doesn't. The required number rises by ~75%.
Many test-sievers use "twice as many relations" as their metric, and decide the smaller LPB is faster when it's not. I've completed 32LP jobs with...

I've never noticed this- my matrices seem to depend on input size much more than LP size, until I get to 32LP. I'd be quite surprised to learn that 30 vs 31 is more than 15% larger matrix, for a...

Bur-
When testing params choices on CADO, I find I need 2-3% more relations per digit for a given LP bound choice, and 70% more relations for a given input number for each increase of 1 LPB. 2% per...

3 large prime jobs produce matrices 10-20% larger than jobs with 2LP on both sides, when comparing the same-size job (both SNFS and GNFS). I usually go for 5-10% more raw relations when stepping from...

Note these lims place this job on the regular 15e queue, not e-small.

There is no such thing as "yield too high". Average yield of 3 to 4 is a good thing; I've run jobs with yields of 6+ with pleasant results many a time, and on small jobs I've seen yields of 10+.

Remember e-small is supposed to be 134/134M lims. You set lims for regular 15e on this job.

I don't recall any advice about max-31LP on e-small- what would be the purpose in that? It's not in the first post of the old queue management thread, either. We aimed to restrict lim's for memory...

With yield under 1.5 and that wide a Q-range, you're likely to get an unpleasant duplicate ratio. A job this size really calls for 32-bit large primes, and I imagine 3LP on one side too. I bet yield...

I thought the main e-small requirement was lim's averaging 134M for small memory use. This job uses the full 15e lim's averaging 200M.
