More stressful than Prime95
You might want to run the latest IntelBurn test. It's even tougher on the processor than Prime95, and identifies calculation errors in an hour or so. Crank the memory setting up close to maximum,...

Thanks for the quick fix
When checking my latest benchmark, I noticed that both the Prime95 version and my clock speed are now being reported correctly. Thanks for the quick work.

The value in my Results.txt file is correct (my error, it's actually 21x 181 = 3801 MHz) Somehow, that shows up as 3620 in the benchmark page (scroll my first code window to the right) and also as...

System RAM won't have much of an effect
The thrashing George is talking about will only affect programs that are highly cpu limited and are processing huge amounts of data e.g. Prime95.
If you're running a browser or other light cpu...

Definitely looks like a hardware issue
How good is your 850W power supply? Some of the generic versions have some stability and noise issues with their 12V buses that can trigger memory errors.
Can you check your Northbridge...

Closer here
Under 26.3b3 (64-bit) the estimates for ECM work in the 5.4M range are about 3:05 apart in my assignments. Actual time is ~ 4:00. That's closer than I used to see at least.
The GHz-day...

Same speed, same performance
At the same speed, the i5 and i7 deliver pretty much the same throughput on Prime95. The i7 has a small edge because it usually comes with triple channel memory compared to the i5's dual channel.

Thank you
Your explanation makes sense.
I had been doing some OCing and benchmarking with LL and noticed a signficant (4%) increase in iteration time between 2 and 3 LL tasks running simultaneously. ...

32 bit allows me to shoot myself in the foot
On the 32-bit version 26.3b4 (and previous builds), setting the memory maximum too high can kill a worker. I set my max mem to 2000 MB. Near as I can tell, when Prime 95 (x86) got up to allocating...

Stage 2 is 60% of Stage 1
I looked over the last sets of ECM data in my worker window and found a consistent pattern. Stage 1 takes 60 minutes, Stage 2 takes 34 minutes.

26.2 finds ECM factor
I got lucky and found an ECM factor in my first dozen attempts on 26.2. (M5308217) I have no idea if the ECM speed is any different than the previous version, but the logic looks solid.

26.2 passes 4 LL-D tests
I just completed 4 LL-D checks using 26.2 64-bit. All four successfully completed the double checks by verifying the previous LL run, so I'm happy with the accuracy of 26.2 for LL tests.

Overclocking?
Those core temperatures are indeed high for stock speeds. Are you by any chance overclocking your CPU? The stock Intel coolers handle stock speeds fine, but don't have much spare capacity.
