No, I won't try to do a custom build. The older one you wrote in 2020 is working just fine. Using the -W switch to specify threads helps tremendously.

I am always open to ideas and suggestions and consider each carefully!

It would be sort of hard to group them into a single file and run them on three machines. I found a version of srsieve2...

I tried running srsieve2cl on a Windows 7 system I have. It has a GTX 1080 in it. An error dialog appeared indicating it was looking for something beginning with "api." I have seen this many times...

I ran the first sieve at -g16. Increasing it to -g32 was not going to make any difference for the second, so I put it back to -g16. For now, I am running -P at 11e11, (1.1e12). I can creep it up as...

I suspected as much. The series I am running jumps from 36 to 1770 and upward for the k's. There is no cover-all P for this. I think I will just set it at 1e12 for now and see how it goes.

Sieving R60 n=100K-250K. That was easy.

I started out using a P value is 100e9. I will probably increase this to get the final term count down more. Of course, raising this increases the time...

How far do the n's need to go in the base 60 link above. What I see is 100K. I could sieve all of these fairly fast with a relatively large P. How would I reserve this group?

A removal rate! This would depend on a "nash" value, I would think. LLR, I would much rather avoid. I have my own set of nash tables I created.

Below is a snip from the first link you provided....

Thanks to rogues's srsieve2cl I can run large sieves rapidly on an RTX 2080. Yes, others could do it faster, but they have no interest. I rather enjoy the sieving, but not the LLR running.

The OS catches the error code. It does not need to be seen.

Q.: Does srsieve2cl generate an exit code when it finishes? Running small sieves from a batch sometimes would fail because I had the -M set too low. It was at 3,500. Now, it is 10,000. It...

I adjusted -P to 100e9. The run took 1.3 hours. The number of remaining terms was about half of what I had before. The GPU stayed below 50°C, so that is really good. I will give -g 16 a try. Perhaps...

I did. srsieve2cl. The GPU utilization never dropped below 80%. Consider the following:

This is me experimenting with the switches. What...
