I can now clarify. Take the example n=2499327041 with 30258 P <= (n-1)/2 values that give rise to counterexamples. The multiplicative order of 2 is 560 meaning a single 2^r solution would give rise...

It is still in phase 1. That should be done within a week. I reckon phase 2 will take a few weeks and the certificate verification about a full day.

R49081 is actually down to 62k bits and phase 2 has to be run yet, plus a verification of the certificate. So it could be another month. I hope this 18 month run will be tickety-boo on a machine...

Not a wise choice for crunching large numbers. During heavy use heat dissipation would be a problem. The Celeron does not have AVX/AVX2.

When a probable prime (PRP) is found by some PRP test then it may or may not be prime. A deterministic test such as BLS/KP/CGH/ECCP or others is needed to be 100% sure.

After making a fool of myself on the pari-users list server, I was told, and with further experimentation, that something like

a || b && c || d

should be interpreted as

((a || b) && c) || d.
