EdH, just thought I would point out that you would save money by replacing your core 2 systems with more modern systems. You get much more efficiency with recent cpus....

I have used wetransfer several times. There is a limit of 2GB but you can do multiple files. Dropbox, google drive, one drive etc are probably the most helpful options for this sort of thing.

What sort or range of memory per core do you have? It might be worth adding -maxmem to every call of ecm.py. It will slow it down a bit on your better machines but at least a higher bound should work...

ecm.py is designed to support the options being passed to it not having defaults.
If you need the same command to each machine to start ecm.py then I would suggest starting ecm.py using a script...
