I've had this exact same issue on my P4...
I've had this exact same issue on my P4 (Willamette423, 1.5GHz, 1GB/DDR266) when its doing long LL tests. Seems to be an unlucky sequence of cache misses, possibly caused by Windows not cleaning out...
