Need to verify if big numbers are integers

I need to see if big numbers, for instance greater than 10^12, are integers? VB6, C++ and the others don't offer this possibility. Could you indicate me some useful programs? Thanks.

P(n+1)<(sqrt(P(n))+1)^2

Let P(n) denote the n-th prime number. Then, does anybody have an idea why P(n+1)<(sqrt(P(n))+1)^2 is true? This would be a lower bound than the Tchebycheff result that there is always a prime...

Fermat's Theorem

We all know fermat's theorem that states: if p is a prime and (p,a)=1 then p divides a^(p-1)-1. I noticed that p divides also: a^k(p-1)-1. Is this a well known characteristic?

Second question:...
