Hi,
This is a funny little project, but I have no intention to participate by now.
Almost all of my computers have selected work type as "First time prime tests". Will they be affected?

You seemed to have given Prime95 very little memory. If my guess is correct, you gave no more than 3GB to Prime95, so even v30.8 could not help.

Do some TF on double-check exponents from 76 to 77 first, then FTC 77->78, then (until you have 3090s or something) run GPUOwl.

Could the PrimeNet server assign separate P-1 work only to version 30.8 or later, and with enough RAM allocated, say 4GB per worker?
Only separate P-1 work at the wavefront should be affected. Those...

Usually they run older versions.
32-bit computers can't have much memory (32-bit means 4GB, but usually they have less than 2GB of available RAM for Prime95), making v30.8's better P-1 performance...

I've seen SUMOUT errors occur when running ECM on very small exponents and cofactors. (M1277 for example)
I'm not trying to reproduce the error (I have more PRPs to do), and it seems that these...

There might be ways around this.
Run ./mprime -m, wait a little more than 5 minutes, then start the worker.

Running GPUowl on GPUs does not result in the same problem.
Just running Python scripts does not result in stopping either.

I guess 160 digits (about 2^530). Might be larger than the factor of M1061.
(Seems that we haven't found a Mersenne prime factor larger than 2^500 yet)

It's not a bug, instead, that's what P-1 is expected to yield.

Does this project involve TF?
I saw some exponents at 38.1M with TF done to 2^71, and it would be fairly easy to TF all of them to 2^73.
May I reserve that range for TF?
